Course objectives & General description

  • This course covers three main topics such as Czech and Central European History including Religion Issues, Czech Culture and Civilization and Comparative European politics.

The first part of this course is all about history, students will meet with some interesting historical facts about Bohemia and Moravia and also about people and tribes that lived in this territory.

Another part of this course covers the development of the country in the heart of Europe. The features of the course are designed as a unique insight into Czech history and politics throughout several periods of time.

The last part of this course is meant for students with different academic backgrounds but with strong interest in Czechoslovak, Czech and Central European political developments during and after the democratic revolutions 1989.
